To recognise excellence in radio journalism and journalistic endeavour.
CATEGORY DESCRIPTION
These awards recognise the work of a broadcasting professional involved in radio journalism. They acknowledge outstanding journalistic endeavour from an individual involved in the preparation of radio stories and their responsibility for the public presentation of those stories.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
AUDIO

Audio duration maximum is 10 minutes.

Entry must contain a range of stories (minimum of 3).

In addition, a 10 second audio clip from the entry must be submitted separately with the entry to be used on award night.
WRITTEN DEMONSTRATION

JUDGING CRITERIA

Journalistic endeavour, including the difficulty of the topic. The entry must provide a real sense of the journalistic endeavour used to inform listeners.

BEST NEWS OR SPORTS STORY - TEAM COVERAGE
For team coverage of a specific news or sports story or event with a focus on journalistic endeavour.

To recognise team excellence in radio news or sports journalism.
CATEGORY DESCRIPTION
These awards recognise the work of broadcasting professionals involved in radio news or sports journalism. They acknowledge outstanding journalistic endeavour from individuals and teams involved in the preparation of radio news or sports stories and those responsible for the public presentation of that news, or the on-air presentataion of sport for radio broadcast.
